Totals add up the figures the notices state, counting a reannounced or restated recall once; 63 of 77 notices add a unit count. A notice that gives no number adds nothing.
Counted across all 77 notices on file as of October 31, 2026. Each line says how many notices it rests on.
Lowe's (9), The Home Depot (6), Ace Hardware (5), Walmart (5), and QVC (3) are the stores named most often in the 63 notices that say where grills were sold. 15 of the 63 notices mention online sales.
The 60 notices that give a price range from $1 to $15,000. Half of them name a price of $200 or less.
By the 62 notices that give sale dates, half the products were on sale for 11 months or less; the longest for 12 years. Half the recalls came within 15 months of the first sale; the other half reached products that had been on sale longer.
A repair in 10 of the 21 notices that name a remedy, a refund in 8, a replacement in 4, a new label in 1. Some notices offer more than one.
Fire is named in 52 of the 77 notices (68%), against 24% of all CPSC notices on file. Then burn (34), explosion (7), fall (4), and electric shock (3).
53 of the 63 notices that describe incidents report at least one; 3 report injuries. 10 said none had been reported when the recall was announced.
32 of the 77 notices list model numbers. They also name serial numbers in 18, date codes or manufacture dates in 10, UPC codes in 3, lot or batch numbers in 1. A matching model number is a reason to open the notice, not the last word.
Where the notices say the numbers are: “on a label inside the left front door of the grill” (2 notices), “on a rating plate label on the rear of the grill” (2 notices), and “in the compartment under the cooking chamber”.
China (46), Hong Kong (5), United States (5), Canada (2) and Mexico (2), in the 61 notices that name a manufacturing country.

No match is not proof that a product is safe. 32 of the 77 notices here list model numbers. They also name serial numbers in 18, date codes or manufacture dates in 10 and lot or batch numbers in 1. The place they name most often is “on a label inside the left front door of the grill”.
