This site is built to know as little about you as possible.
Home Recall Watch has no accounts, no signups, no advertising scripts, and sets no cookies. Usage is measured only as anonymous, cookie-free page counts. The one thing it remembers — recalls you choose to save — never leaves your browser.

What stays on your device
When you save a product, your browser stores a small recall reference locally: the recall number, product name, firm, category, the page address, and the time you saved it. This powers the “Check my products” view without an account, and it is never transmitted to us or anyone else.
You are in full control of that list. Remove individual items in the product-check view, or clear this site's data in your browser settings to erase it entirely.
What is processed to deliver the site
Like every website, the hosting and network infrastructure that serves these pages processes standard technical data when you visit: your IP address, the time and address of the request, and basic browser information. This data is used to deliver pages and protect the service from abuse. We do not use it to identify you, build profiles, or track your activity.
Recall photos from CPSC are served through this site's own infrastructure, so viewing them does not send a request from your browser to any third party.
Anonymous usage measurement
To understand which pages help people, this site counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics. The counting is cookie-free: no cookie, no device fingerprint, and no identifier that persists across days or follows you to other sites. What we see are aggregate numbers — how many visits a page received — never who you are or what you did elsewhere.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies — not for tracking, not for preferences, not for anything. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
What this site does not do
- No user accounts or cloud profiles
- No newsletter or recall-alert signup
- No behavioral or advertising tracking
- No sale or sharing of personal information
- No tracking of your activity on other sites
The reserved ad and future-offer areas you may notice in the layout are inactive interface components. They load no ad network and transmit no data to any commercial partner.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
This site does not profile visitors and does not sell or share personal information, so browser signals like Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control require no change in how it behaves. What those signals ask for is already the default here — anonymous page counts contain nothing to sell, share, or opt out of.
Children's privacy
Home Recall Watch is a general-audience reference and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Official and third-party links
Links to CPSC, SaferProducts.gov, manufacturers, or other external sites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Home Recall Watch does not control those services.
Email corrections
If you email us about a factual correction, the message is handled by your email provider and ours, like any email. Please do not include sensitive personal, financial, or medical details. Product incidents should be reported through the official federal route at SaferProducts.gov, not by email to us.
Changes to this notice
If a feature that processes personal data is ever added — alerts, accounts, or advertising — this notice will be updated before that feature is turned on, and the date at the top will change.
Questions about this notice can be directed through the contact page.
