LSI Wind Speed Sensors
CPSC published a recall notice for LSI Wind Speed Sensors from Load Systems International on August 7, 2013. CPSC identifies this hazard: The sensor can fail to display an accurate data reading and cause crane operators and other users to incorrectly gauge wind conditions, posing a risk of injury from impact to the consumer. The official remedy states: Consumers should stop using the wind speed sensors and contact LSI for instructions on returning the recall sensor for a replacement unit. LSI is contacting known customers directly.
