CPSC published a recall notice for Kitchen Selectives® 6-Speed Blender from Kitchen Selectives® 6-Speed on May 24, 2012. CPSC identifies this hazard: While in operation, the plastic pitcher can separate from the blade assembly, leaving the blade assembly in the base and exposing the rotating blades. This poses a laceration hazard to consumers. The official remedy states: Consumers should immediately stop using the blenders and return them to the retailer where purchased to receive a full refund.
