What to check on the product label

Compare the model on your label, then check any serial numbers, date codes, and exclusions in the notice. A model match alone does not confirm that your unit is included.

Additional identifying details

Check the product label for these CPSC-listed model numbers: RFBLU45U, DB120111, DB130158, EB120203, EB130204, FB120315, FB320123.

Why it was recalled

In hot environments or high elevations, the fuel cap can fail to vent properly, causing the fuel to heat up and pressure to build up in the tank. The pressure can cause the fuel tank to rupture or the fuel to boil out of the tank onto the operator or hot engine, resulting in burns to the operator or a fire.

Incidents and injuries

None reported

Official remedy
