CPSC recall 06-093, announced February 23, 2006, covers Provo Craft & Novelty Art Accentz™ Changlz™ Metal Charms (about 29,000 units). The recalled charms contain high levels of lead, posing a serious risk of lead poisoning and adverse health effects to young children. Consumers should immediately take the charms away from children and ensure any charms being used are not accessible to children. Recall contact: call (800) 955-9490, or go to www.recall.provocraft.com.
Compare the model on your label, then check any serial numbers, date codes, and exclusions in the notice. A model match alone does not confirm that your unit is included.
The CPSC data does not provide a discrete model-number list for this record. Compare the product description and identification details on the official notice.
Which products are included?
The charms are small silver-colored metal shapes that include flowers, bugs, pumpkins, and picture frames. "Art Accentz," "Changlz," "Provo Craft," and "For ages 3 and over" are printed on the charm's packaging.
