The TL-83 is a version of the TL-720 brake lever, modified with a quick release slot at the top of the lever arm and designed exclusively for use with aerodynamic handlebars (aerobars) sold as original equipment on these modules. They are black aluminum and model number "TL-720" can be read on the side of the lever arm when braking action is applied.
