Legacy Propane Infrared Plaque Heaters
CPSC published a recall notice for Legacy Propane Infrared Plaque Heaters from Chant Kitchen Equipment on December 20, 2005. CPSC identifies this hazard: Carbon monoxide hazard. A non-specification gasket around the heating plaques could allow heater carbon monoxide emissions to leak into the area in which the heater is being used. The official remedy states: The firm is no longer in business, and a remedy is no longer available. Consumers should discard or destroy the product.
