Valsi Single Phase Portable Generators

CPSC published a recall notice for Valsi Single Phase Portable Generators from Valsi Single Phase on March 22, 2006. CPSC identifies this hazard: The fuel tanks can crack and leak fuel, posing a risk of fires and burn injuries. The official remedy states: Valsi is directly notifying those consumers who purchased affected generators. Consumers should stop using their generators immediately and contact a Valsi dealer or Valsi customer service to make arrangements to have a replacement gas tank installed at no cost to the consumer.
