CPSC published a recall notice for Homelite, Husky and Black Max Brand Generators from Homelite Consumer Products Inc. on August 13, 2009. CPSC identifies this hazard: The fuel gauge can leak excessive amounts of gasoline, posing a fire hazard to consumers.
