Country Clipper Jazee and Jazee One Grass Collection System Blower Blades
CPSC published a recall notice for Country Clipper Jazee and Jazee One Grass Collection System Blower Blades from Shivvers Manufacturing on July 21, 2004. CPSC identifies this hazard: The ends of the blades on these Country Clipper riding mowers can break off and become projectiles, leaving the mower deck at a high rate of speed. The recalled blades can break because "slots" in the blade cause metal fatigue. The official remedy states: Consumers should stop using the Country Clipper Jazee Lawn Mowers with Grass Collection Systems with the recalled blades immediately. Call the Country Clipper dealer to make an appointment for free replacement of the recalled blades.
