CPSC published a recall notice for Cub Cadet riding lawn mowers from Cub Cadet riding lawn on April 13, 2011. CPSC identifies this hazard: A fuel leak can occur near the rear mounting screws on the bottom of the fuel tank, posing a fire hazard. The official remedy states: Consumers should immediately stop using the mowers and store them outside. Consumers should contact their local Cub Cadet dealer to schedule an appointment for a free repair.
