The fuel tanks can crack and leak fuel, posing a risk of fires and burn injuries.

Bradley Technologies (Canada)
In addition to the electric cord that plugs into the wall, these units have an electric cord with prongs on both ends that connect the generator to the smoker. If the unit is plugged into the wall socket and one end of the connecting cord is unplugged, there is an electric shock hazard.

The fuel hoses can leak if bent in an unreasonable fashion during installation or upon completion of installation. If an ignition source is present, a fire or explosion can occur.

A misrouted fuel line in the engine can become damaged, allowing gasoline to leak out, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

A small hole in the generator's fuel tank, where it mounts to the frame, can leak fuel and pose a fire hazard to consumers.
DeVilbiss Air Power Company (DAPC)
CPSC and DAPC are investigating whether the fuel tanks on the generators can crack where the tanks mount on the frame, posing a fire hazard. As a precaution until that evaluation is complete, consumers should not put more than three gallons of gasoline in the fuel tanks at any time.
