Why this notice was issued

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire. In addition, pieces of the O-ring may clog the fuel lines, causing a loss of engine performance and increasing the risk of a crash.

Official action

Do not drive. Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until they replace the fuel filter. K&N will refund the purchase price, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed in July 28, 2026. Owners may contact K&N customer service at recallreturn@knfilters.com or 1-866-401-5660.
